Nujabes（ヌジャベス）の死後、Shing02が完成させた「Luv(sic) Grand Finale (pt.6)」。シリーズ完結編としての「円環」のテーマや、亡き友への手向け、そして永遠に回り続けるレコードの物語を解説します。
2001年から始まったNujabesとShing02による「Luv(sic)（ラブシック）」六部作、その感動の最終章（グランドフィナーレ）です。
この曲のビートは、Nujabesが2010年に急逝した後、彼の携帯電話から「Luv(sic) Grand Finale」というタイトルが付けられた状態で発見されました。まるで彼が最期に遺したメッセージであるかのようなこのトラックに、Shing02が運命を感じて作詞し、2013年に完成させたという奇跡的な背景があります。
テーマは「円環（Circle）」と「永遠」。
Part 1から始まった物語は、このPart 6で完結しますが、歌詞にある「You say a circle is a flawless shape（君は円は完璧な形だと言う）」や「After six come seven and eight（6の後には7と8）」という言葉通り、終わりは新たな始まりであり、無限のループ（∞）を意味しています。
サビの「Gotta finish what we started, so I cut the tape（始めた事を終わらせよう、テープを切る）」というラインは、マラソンのゴールテープを切る（完走する）ことと、レコーディングテープを切る（作品を完成させる）ことのダブルミーニング。
物理的にNujabesはいなくなってしまったけれど、レコードがターンテーブルで回り続ける限り、彼の音楽と魂は永遠に生き続ける——。12年越しの旅路を締めくくるにふさわしい、美しく希望に満ちたフィナーレです🎬🌌
